Boniface Mukuha
My name is Boniface Mukuha, born and raised in Kibera. I am a passionate Community Health Advocate, Mental Health Advocate, Community Health Promoter (CHP), and advocate for a drug-free community. I am the founder and lead of GLEE ā Giving Listening Ear for Empathy, a community-based organization committed to creating healing-centered and empowered communities. Through GLEE, I work with young people, families, and community members to promote mental health awareness, prevent substance abuse, provide support, and connect people to appropriate services. Being born and raised in Kibera has given me a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within my community. I am passionate about turning lived experiences and community challenges into meaningful action. My goal is to listen, support, refer, and empower people while contributing to a healthier, safer, and more compassionate community. I believe that real change starts by listening to people, walking with them, and creating opportunities for them to thrive.
