Dianah Nanjala Wabwire
My name is Dianah Nanjala. I’m a Kenyan model, disability inclusion advocate, community leader and Cooperative Officer. My journey has really been about turning my experiences into a purpose of creating opportunities and changing how society views people with disabilities. I’ve won the titles of Miss Inclusive Kenya and Miss Amputee Kenya . Through modelling and pageantry, I use my platform to show that disability should never be a reason for someone to be excluded from opportunities in fashion, employment, leadership, sports or any other space. I’m also the founder of Ray of Hope Amputee CBO, where I’m involved in advocacy around disability inclusion, social justice, human rights and community empowerment. I’ve also been involved in youth leadership, Para-Volley and different initiatives that create visibility and opportunities for people with disabilities. What I’m most passionate about is inclusive employment and representation. I want people to see our abilities before our disabilities and understand that we have talents, dreams and skills that can contribute meaningfully to society. That’s why I’m applying for Miss Disability Inclusion 2027. For me, it’s not just about winning a crown. It’s about having a bigger platform to amplify the voices of people with disabilities, challenge stereotypes and create meaningful change.
