Hellen Bosire
I am a social worker, youth mentor, community leader, and a passionate advocate for children, young people, and women. Through my work with Safe Engage Foundation and my community initiatives, I have actively contributed to mentorship, child protection, gender-based violence prevention, sexual and reproductive health education, education support, and youth empowerment. My commitment to philanthropy is driven by a desire to create opportunities, amplify the voices of vulnerable communities, and inspire young people to believe in their potential. I have supported and participated in initiatives that provide safe spaces, mentorship, leadership development, and life skills to children, adolescents, and young women. I am applying for the Wezesha Award Philanthropist of the Year to have my contribution to community transformation recognized and to use the platform to inspire more people to give, serve, and invest in meaningful change. For me, philanthropy is not only about giving resources it is about giving hope, creating opportunities, and empowering people to build better futures.
